Big Pharma is a for profit entity that is looking for lifetime customers, therefore, they are developing medications to control symptoms, not cure diseases. When you’ve cured someone, they are no longer your customer, when you manage their symptoms, they are forced to be a customer for life and you get residual income. This is also why Big Pharma is so opposed to ending Cannabis Prohibition, there just is no profit in a medication that people can grow for themselves.
